Like many culture-defining television
shows; the styles of Game of Thrones have created a surge of replicators and
copycats. Despite the fact that the show is based in a tweaked version of Earth
with endless differences in terms of physics, culture and appearance; many men
from all around the world are trying to recreate the haircuts seen by many of
the men in Game of Thrones. Here are a few tips to replicate the hairstyles of
the most iconic characters of the books and television shows.
Ned Stark
Sean Bean portrays the main
protagonist at the start of the series. A man as brave as he is tough; Ned
Stark represents the ideal for many men hoping to maximise their masculinity.
For any man with a strong jawline; the Ned Stark look is well within your
grasp. Allow neat stubble to grow from your chin and upper lips. Visit your
Barber Shop and allow your Hairdresser to keep the stubble in check and neat
whilst trimming your hair. Grow your hair to roughly shoulder length and brush
slightly backwards. The hair does not need to be combed perfectly as
imperfections add to the masculine charm.
Jaime Lannister
The Jaime Lannister look could be
described as a clean-shaven Ned Stark. Resplendent in gold plates, the
Lannister Lion could be a stylistic role model for anybody with blonde lock.
Like Stark, this look starts with long hair. More care needs to be taken when
brushing back the hair for the Jaime style. Consult you Designer Hairdresser
for advice as to what hair care products you should use. To complete the look
make sure that you are clean shaven at all times.
Jon Snow
Ned Starks illegitimate child is
described as loving his hair more than any girl. A semi-perm adorns the head of
the young Snow boy. If your hair is not naturally curly, ask your Barber to
crimp and perm it to create the sensation of waves. It needs to be kept mid
length and conditioned regularly to ensure a healthy shave. Combine this with
regular shaves to complete the Jon Snow look.
